A desktop drive placed in a recorder will usually survive the warranty period and then fail during the one week you actually needed the footage. Surveillance-rated drives are tuned for sustained sequential writes from many camera streams at once, with firmware that prioritises dropping a frame over dropping the recording.

Every drive is tested and backed by our standard return policy. Items marked as ships in ~5 business days are sourced to order from our distribution partners and carry the full manufacturer warranty.
Due to high demand, occasionally some of our products do go out of stock. We are constantly monitoring our stock levels, and we usually expect to replenish any product line within a couple of weeks. If you have placed a pre-order for an item that is out of stock and it looks like it will take longer than expected to get it to you.
